Torino 1-1 Inter Milan

Table toppers Inter Milan dropped two important points on Sunday to visiting Torino.
Having lost two valuable members of their starting XI due to suspension- being Adriano for his gut punch against Sampdoria and Sully Muntari for his red card at mid week against Catania- the Milan side were quick to allow for mistakes.
The first half began with little in it for either side. A few knocks and chances were given at both ends of the pitch, however it was only Dzemaili that was able to add any life to the encounter as he rocketed a shot wide of the net.
The second half started with Inter manager Jose Mourinho adding Ricardo Quaresma and Luis Figo- who was actually added late in the first half. The additions of the two experienced stars did little to improve the Merazzuri’s chances as Torino took a 1-0 lead through a brilliant Bianchi header.
The Granata’s lead was only short lived as in the 58th minute, Inter found their equalizer as Argentine defender Nicolas Burdisso scored only his fourth ever Serie A goal, heading the ball past keeper Sereni.
For the remainder of tthe match, both sides had a number of clear opportunities, as the match headed for a one all result.
With the draw, Inter maintain their lead atop Serie A on 49 points, as Torino sitthird from last on 17.
