Indoor Winter Leagues '09/'10

For the winter season of '09/'10, all WCW league play will be on some of the best indoor turf facilities in the city. 

All winter indoor Coed leagues take place at the Mercy Indoor Soccer facility in the west loop on Saturdays.

All winter indoor Men's leagues take place at Chicago Indoor Soccer on Monday (recreational/intermediate) and Tuesday ('Elite' advanced/competitive) evenings.

Coed

The second of three Coed winter indoor league session begins on Saturday January 16th at the Mercy Soccer Center, and will run for 8 weeks!

All games are 6v6 (one goalie and five outfield players) and two females need to be on the field at any time (four males, two females).

Each game is 50 minutes (25 min halves) using only USSF/FIFA qualified referees.

Unlike all of the 'other' leagues that take place at Mercy, we do not call free kicks when the ball hits the ceiling. This means the ball is in play a lot more.

As with the outdoor season, there are two divisions for you to choose from with an exciting promotion/relegation system between the two:

• First Division - beginner and intermediate/recreational players.  These games are played in the morning to early afternoon.First Division - beginner and intermediate/recreational players.  These games are played in the morning to early afternoon.
• Premier Division - advanced/competitive players - most people here have college experience or equivelent. These games are played in the afternoon. 

Alll teams get a minimum of eight competitive games including playoffs. The winners of each division take home a trophy and receive a party at one of our sponsor bars! All players will have access to online scores, standings, schedules and the ability to communicate with team mates.

Men's

The second of three Men's winter indoor league sessions begins on Monday 4th January and Tuesday 5th January at Chicago Indoor Soccer, and will run for 8 weeks!

All games are 6v6 (one goalie and five outfield players). Each game is 40 minutes using only USSF/FIFA qualified referees.

This exciting winter indoor Men's league is divided into three divisions to give every team the most competitive stage to play:

• Classic Division - intermediate/recreational players.  These games are played every Monday evening.
• Premier - upper intermediate/lower advanced. A perfect middle place for those who don't fit above or below. These games are played every Monday and Tuesday evening.
• Elite Division - very advanced/competitive players - most people here have college experience or equivelent. These games are played every Tuesday evening.
