3/28 Chicago Storm vs. California Cougars 7pm

We return yet again to the spacious Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates for some exciting Stormcasting action.  The California Cougars make their first appearance on our web blogging extravaganza as the Storm fight to stay in the playoffs.

The AIM is finally back up and working over at “mikestormguy” so remember to keep doing it on me.  It’s Fantastic.

1401: This is a test today

2113: FINAL STORM 25 - 17 Finally! The Storm escape only relatively singed by this scoring display. We’re sure Coach Morris will have more than enough to talk about tonight considering the unorganized defense, but he has to be happy that the attackers are finally syncing up.

2112: GOAL California 17 -15 The Cougars will not let us go home, will they? Enrique Tovar slows down our exit from the spacious Sears Centre.

2108: GOAL STORM 25 - 15 CHILE FARIAS FROM DOWNTOWN! Who doesn’t like to see the long-distance lob on the open net? This is why you dont pull your goalie. A once tight shootout is all but over with 1 minute left in the match.

Stewart just misses Ughy on the cross for another!

2106: GOAL STORM 22 - 15 STOP THE FIGHT. John Ball flicks it just past the “6th Man” to give Chicago a seemingly commanding lead with 2 minutes left in the game.

2103: GOAL Storm 20 - 15 The hits just keep on coming as Stewart and Ughy help John Ball send the Cougars goalie home early. The 5 points lead with 5 minutes left has California probably running 6 men from here on out.

2058: GOAL STORM 18 - 15 Immediately off of the free kick, Farias sends an excellent ball off the boards to a waiting Mark Ughy who heads it home to complete the power play.

7 minutes left in the game, and both teams are fighting hammer and tongs. We finally got to say that! Thanks FIFA 08!

2057: Power Play to the Storm. Let’s see if they can get back to rebuilding that lead.

2056: GOAL California 16-15 We have ourselves a barnburner. Actually, we’ve HAD ourselves a barnburner for quite some time, but now….well now place is just getting plain torched. Majell Aterado takes a three-point shot to the once slightly safe Chicago lead.

2055: There’s a group of young soccer fans completely more enthralled with the concourse’s crane game than this heated 16-12 match.
